Breathing in odors that may cause you health problems is typically common place for flooring and underlayment adhesives. With E-Grip III this is no longer the case. E-Grip III is a zero-VOC product that is a one-component urethane adhesive formulated specifically for use with attaching rubber underlayment. E-Grip III features excellent trowel-ability as well as improved tack properties so it is easy to apply and keeps seems flat and secure. The moisture-cured, no-mix, non-sag, and permanently elastic formula has excellent adhesion to elastomers, concrete, and wood in both indoor and outdoor applications. E-Grip III can be applied using either a 1/16" or 1/8" notched trowel.
Our QuietGround underlayment does not require adhesion to your sub-floor if the flooring installed over the underlayment is also free floating. If you are installing tile, glued down hardwood or hardwood laminate, vinyl, or another type of glued down flooring then you will need to first adhere the QuietGround to the sub-floor using a quality adhesive like E-Grip III.
