Ribbed Acoustic Threshold

Sound and air can leak around the bottom and sides of your automatic door bottom or door if you do not have the proper acoustic threshold installed. This particular acoustic threshold installs over the sub-floor or finish floor directly beneath the door. This heavy duty acoustic threshold measures 1/2" at the tallest point and is 4" wide. The base pricing for this heavy duty acoustic threshold is for doors that are up to 36" wide. The standard finish is an anodized clear aluminum color.

When the door is closed, the neoprene element will provide a tight seal against the bottom side of the door slab or automatic door bottom. The smooth flat surface allows your automatic door bottom to seal perfectly along the entire width of the door. If the door is difficult to close then your threshold is installed too close to the slab. Our heavy duty acoustic threshold is suitable for all doors from light residential to high performance sound isolation doors.
